How do I do a domain-wide install of the Gmail Add-on?
If you have a G Suite account, then you can do a domain-wide install of the Gmail add-on so that each email address does not need to install the add-on separately.
Follow these steps to install our Gmail Add-on.
Using a G Suite admin account, open the G Suite Marketplace page for our Gmail Add-on.
Click the DOMAIN INSTALL button. This will trigger a confirmation dialog.
Click the CONTINUE button. This will trigger a verification page.
Click the checkbox to accept terms and click the Accept button. The add-on should now be installed for all accounts in your domain. Keep in mind that it may take up to 24 hours for Google to add the add-on to all accounts in your domain.
Note: If you're using Gmail on the desktop, you might need close the Gmail tab/window and open it again otherwise the newly installed add-on will not appear.
On the web version of Gmail, add-ons appear on the right side of the screen. Click on the shopping cart icon to open the add-on.
On the mobile version of Gmail, add-ons appear at the bottom of the email so you'll need to scroll all the way down to the bottom to see it. Click on the shopping cart icon to open the add-on.
Note: If you are using G Suite and you do not see the Merchant Mail icon after installing the add-on, then you may need to change your G Suite security settintgs for Marketplace apps.
Complete setup by entering your activation code and clicking the ACTIVATE WITH CODE button in the add-on.
Your activation code is unique to your email address and is emailed to you when your address is given access to your Stripe account in the Merchant Mail admin dashboard.
You also have the option to ACTIVATE WITHOUT A CODE. This will open a new window where you will need to login to your Google account on merchantmail.app.
Note: If have trouble during the activation step and you are activating without a code, then try again after opening your browser in incognito mode (also known as private browsing in some browsers) and logging into Gmail.
At this point, you should be able to start using the add-on. The image below shows a properly configured add-on.
